Oh Joy

I've spent the last two Fridays (my day off) with Carissa, who now lives in Huntington Beach (I'm not the least bit jealous)  I love that area so much and now I have even more reason to go down there.

We like to walk on the pier and feel the breeze in our hair

Eat delicious Mediterranean food at a family owned luncheonette, while people watching on the outside patio.

Mangiamo Gelato Cafe for dessert of course. Baccio is the best gelato flavor in the whole wide world!

Go shopping at the amazing Forever 21 and our new favorite store Varga. They have the girliest clothes ever at great prices which makes us jump for joy.

Speaking of joy, I made homemade Almond Joy candy bar last night. You can find this recipe here.

Super easy recipe but time consuming, well worth the time though. One bite and you will be in a heavenly lip-smacking state of bliss.

Market Night in a Blur

Last Thursday night April and I ventured out to Downtown Redlands market night in hopes of some pictures we could use for our class. They are blurry on purpose (part of an assignment), I wasn't thrilled with these at first but the more I look at them the more they are growing on me :) Here are some of those shots.....

My Favorite is the one of the door in an antique shop near by, there wasn't much going on since it was such a cold night to be out but I did learn some new things.

Happy picture taking!

Holga let Down

Remember my Holga I was so excited to get last summer? Well, I had one roll of film finished and had to drive to Tim-buck-To for a place that would develop 120 film. To my dismay when I went to pick up my film, turned out that the negatives were blank :( I don't know if it was me, the film or the developer but I like to believe that it was the developer because he wasn't very nice or helpful and besides how hard can it be to take a picture with such a simple camera?! Hopefully I'll have better luck next time but in the mean time I signed up for a photography class with my friend April! I'm so looking forward to working on our projects together and going on adventures with her for this class.

Exercise Made Cute

When I get a new outfit it's always reason for wearing it and feeling super amazing and motivated for going somewhere or doing something for me. So maybe if I got some cute workout clothes I would be more motivated to go for my 5 mile walks (I have been better about going but some how something always comes up so I can't go) Here are some fabulous pieces I found.

Yes, I know they are a little fancy and over priced to sweat in but that's me soooo off to
Marshall's I go in search of some motivation.

Boots on the Mind

I found these boots on sale while browsing on the Anthropologie website (one of  my favorite pass times) and fell in love with them. To bad the are out of size 8 1/2, sad day. Maybe I will call some of the stores to see if they might have a pair in stock?!

I love Marshal's

Marshall's has become on of my favorite stores to shop for deals lately. Mom and I went this past Sunday and loaded two carts full of Christmas gifts and made out with some amazing prices!  Last night was no exception, yes we went back again (they get new shipments in all the time so we had to go back) and I scored a fabulous jacket by Hazel.

(not the greatest picture)
My jacket is green, very similar to the Anthropologie jacket I've had my eye on and I have to say I am more than pleased with my find! I might add it was budget friendly to for a mere $59.99 originally $188.00!

These are a Few of My Favorite Things

Our mail box has been bombarded with Christmas catalogs for awhile now and being the "at home/online shopper I have enjoyed flipping through some of my favorite catalogs,  JCrew and Anthropologie (my two most favorite stores in the whole wide world)  have really out done themselves with their Christmas catalogs this year and I can't seem to stop looking through their pages. I must say I am very proud of my self-restraint this year with my lack of spending but oh how I miss thee Anthropologie.........

Click here and here for some more of my favorite catalog finds.
